SUMMARY:“Anthropology Day” Organized by the Dept. of Anthropology FHSS
DESCRIPTION:Marking 61 years of the proud history of the Department of Anthropology\, on this 26th March 2021 Anthropology Day will be held at the Board Room of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from 8.45 am to 3.00 pm. with the participation of the chief guest Snr. Prof. Sudantha Liyanage and Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda; Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. \nAnthropology Day consists of brief talks of most reputed anthropologists representing various fields of anthropology\, sociology and archaeology. These talks will mainly focus on the history and the development of Anthropology as a discipline in Sri Lanka.  \nThe keynote speech will be delivered by Prof. Praneeth Abhayasundara of the Department of Anthropology\, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.  \nAnthropology Day Program:
