This year\u2019s conference will be held under the theme of\u00a0<em><b>\u201cFostering Folklore Research: Enriching Global Citizens through Traditional Insights\u201d<\/b><\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>as a\u00a0<strong>virtual conference<\/strong>\u00a0with the participation of the Chief Guest; Snr. Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,\u00a0<strong>Keynote Speaker; Snr. Prof. Saman Chandra Ranasinghe,\u00a0<\/strong>Professor in the Department of Languages, Cultural Studies And Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Also, more than 300 participants will participate in the ICICH 2020 through the online platforms to disseminate their new research findings that represent various fields of studies related to the intangible cultural heritage\/folklore studies. This year, the conference is chaired by Dr. Nelum Kanthilatha with the assistance of the Secretariat Dr. Tharaka Ananda and advisory committee members; Snr. Porf.
