The farewell ceremony of the 03rd batch of Diploma in History-2023, offered by the Department of History and Archaeology, was successfully held on the 01st of November 2023, from 9.00 a.m. onwards, at Prof. Mendis Rohanadheera Hall.
The occasion was graced by the Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, Sen. Lect. (Ven.) Dambara Amila, Prof. Pathmasiri Kannangara, Prof. K.M. Alexander, Prof. Sanjeevi Manthrirathna (Coordinator of the Diploma in History Program), the Senior Assistant Registrar of the FHSS, Ms. Samantha Geeganage, and the academic and non-academic staff of the department.
The students who successfully completed the History Diploma program extended their gratitude to the Department for the substantial knowledge and experience they gained throughout the program. The occasion was followed by a refreshment table arranged by the students for the staff, and a formal group photograph of the 3rd batch with the academic staff was taken at the end.
