The Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized a two-day visit to the Rajagala Archaeological site for the BA (External) Degree students who are following History and Archaeology subjects, on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2022.
The Academic staff members of the department, including the Head of the Department, Prof. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Prof. Alexander Kapukotuwa, Senior Lect. Rev. Dambara Amila and Senior Lect. Dr. Oshan Wedage participated in this visit with the students, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the Rajagala site premises, covering prehistoric to late Anuradhapura period monuments and zones.
