Renovated\u00a0Prof. Mandis Rohanadhira hall of the\u00a0Department of History and Archeology<\/a>\u00a0in the\u00a0Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences<\/a>\u00a0was opened\u00a0by the Vice-chancellor of the University\u00a0of Sri Jayewardenepura; Prof. Sampath Amaratunge with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Prof. D. P. S. Chandrakumara\u00a0 at the opening ceremony held\u00a0on 10th January 2019. Renovation of the lecture hall was done under the guidance of the present\u00a0Head of the Department of History and Archaeology; Prof. K. M. Alexander.<\/p>\n

In addition, academic members of the respective Department including, Rev. Dambara Amila,\u00a0Prof. Pathmasiri Kannangara and Prof. S. D. N. Dharmarathna participated in the ceremony.<\/p>\n
