The students who successfully completed the History Diploma were awarded detailed certificates while the Diploma students extended their gratitude to the department for the substantial knowledge and experience they gained. Furthermore, the establishment of a Past Pupil Association for the History Diploma program was held in parallel. The event was graced by Prof. Gamini Ranasinghe, the Director-General of the Central Cultural Fund, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, the Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, Prof. P.B. Manadawala, Prof. Pathmasiri Kannangara, Prof. K.M.
