Under the\u00a0guest lecture series<\/a>\u00a0organized by the\u00a0Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice<\/a>\u00a0of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences the 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0and 4th<\/sup>\u00a0lectures were conducted on two of timely valued topics:\u00a0\u201cChild Protection & Development\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0on 1st<\/sup>\u00a0June 2018 and\u00a0\u201cNarcotics & Organized Crimes\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0on 4th<\/sup>\u00a0June 2018 at the Department Premises. The first lecture was conducted by\u00a0Mr. Ajith Ekanayake<\/strong>, Child Protection Officer, and the second one by\u00a0Mr. Sajeewa Medawatte<\/strong>, Deputy Inspector General of Police.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Anuruddhika Buddadasa, Head of the Department of Criminology, academic members and undergraduates participated in the lecture series.<\/p>\n
