‘ස්වර්ණ ධාරා’, the Mini Welcome Programme which was organized by the final year undergraduates of the Department of Economics to welcome the third year undergraduates held on 23rd of May 2021 (Yesterday)with grandeur via Zoom by taking the initiative of conducting a virtual welcoming programme under this pandemic situation. Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. B.W.R.Damayanthi, the Head of the Department, the academic staff and the non-academic staff of the department, final year undergraduates and third year undergraduates heartily joined for this session. Nevertheless the uncertainties that arose with regard to the current worldwide situation, students of the department could contribute to such an initiative programme in a more successful manner.
