The Department of Economics of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized an awareness session for the final-year undergraduates on the theme `What to Expect and How to Excel in Your Career: Awareness for Interns` on June 30, 2023, at Hall 02 of the Department of Economics. The session consisted of three guest speakers, including Ms. Kokila De Alwis, Director (Corporate Affairs) of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Stabilization; Mr. Bandara Wijeratne, General Manager (Progarm) in Fm Derana; and Mr. Haritha Perera, Senior Executive in Talent Acquisition, Dialog Axiata PLC. This session was moderated by Dr.Ajantha Kalyanaratne, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics. Professor Gamini Weerasinghe, head of the Department of Economics, and members of the academic staff joined the session.
