4th International Conference on Intangible Cultural Heritage organized by the Department of Anthropology<\/a>,<\/span> University of Sri Jayewardenepura is one of the very first conference in this field of studies in Sri Lanka. ICICH will be conducted under the theme \u201cPreserving and Safeguarding Cultural Heritage through Traditional Insights\u201d<\/strong><\/em> which promotes folklore research among the academia.<\/p>\n

The conference encourages research findings from various fields such as Cultural Tourism, Oral Traditions and Expressions, Performing Arts, Social Practices, Rituals and Festive Events, Traditional Craftmanship, Traditional Food and Agriculture and Traditional Medicine and Traditional Technologies\u00a0etc.<\/p>\n
