Dr. Asha Fernando and her selected final year research students\u00a0attached to the\u00a0Department of Philosophy and Psychology<\/a>, of the\u00a0Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences<\/a>, presented their\u00a0research findings in An International Conference of Compassionate Youth: KARUNA A COMPASSIONATE WORLD held in Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital, Puducherry, India on 24th\u00a0and 25th January\u00a02019. This event was organized by Institute of Palliative care Medicine in Puducherry, India.<\/p>\n

At the conference, Dr. Asha Fernando and her team received the\u00a0Best Team Award for their research presentations.\u00a0 In addition, the Best Research Paper Award is won by K.V.P.M. Karunaratne for her research paper titled \u201cCompassion, as a Method of Forming a Successful Counseling Process\u201d.<\/p>\n
