Asha Nimali Fernando, senior lecturer attached to the <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.fhss.sjp.ac.lk\/pp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Philosophy and Psychology<\/a> of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was invited to deliver a <strong>guest speech at the 55<sup>th<\/sup> National &amp; 24<sup>th<\/sup> International Conference of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology.<\/strong> This conference was hosted by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, along with the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology from 23<sup>rd<\/sup> January to 25<sup>th<\/sup> January 2020. The central theme of the conference was \u2018Psychology for Global Happiness\u2019. There, Dr. Asha Fernando presented a speech on \u2018The Concept of Happiness\u2019.
