Survey on Computer Literacy by Final Year Undergraduates of the Dept. of Social Statistics

 

Final year undergraduates of the Department of Social Statistics conducted an annual field survey from 20th to 22nd December 2019 in the Buttala area related to the Data Analysis course unit. The field survey aims to collect primary data regarding computer literacy levels among secondary school children in the studied area under the supervision of academic staff members of the department. Moreover, the field survey was helpful for the undergraduates to develop their knowledge and skills related to data collection and organizing surveys and to improve their soft skills including leadership skills, team working skills, organizing skills, communication skills, etc.
